4 Tools that Enable Better Work

I'm June, yes, like the month - and I consult for businesses that I believe in!

I have always been a multi-linguist in the digital tongue and passionate about growth hacking for businesses in innovative and creative ways.

Having a Bachelor of Business Information Systems from Monash University in Australia allows me to understand the technical foundations of what's required within a project flow.

I specialize in Audience Growth and Social Media Marketing, and managing my many clients requires efficiency - so here are my top 4 tools that enable better work;

Slack

Having an Inbox of ‘No Unread Emails’ is automatically set as a daily goal. We spend on average 13 hours a week on emails - that’s a lot of time! Think about how many times it’s just a quick response needed like; ‘9am Tuesday sounds good.’ This all adds up.

Slack allows you to communicate with your team in seconds and it integrates with other apps like Trello and Google Drive. File sharing among peers is also great within Slack. The app cuts my email time in half and allows me to obtain the answers I need in a timely fashion.

Co-Schedule

The social media scheduling tools out in the market are abundant. But Co-Schedule is just a treat to work with. With a user friendly interface and a simplistic layout, it’s not hard to pick this tool above the rest. But it really is Social Media Marketing on steroids.

Co-Schedule allows you to build out your social content calendar and automatically decide on the ‘best time’ for maximum engagement - which you then don’t need to worry about. It allows for me to visualize a platform’s consistency in content, ensure regularity and bulk schedule.

Canva

Producing presentations for clients can take hours! Even if you are proficient on Adobe, Keynote or Powerpoint, Canva is just a pleasant design tool that has great beautiful templates.

It’s not just for presentations - you can use it to create your social media graphics and the best part is, it comes pre-loaded with optimal dimensions for all platforms like Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Canva allows for quick simple graphic design, by a non-expert.

Accelo

I have saved the best until last. Accelo literally makes my life easier! I have not come across such a seamless project automation product before, that has thought of it all.

Accelo gives me complete visibility across a project. You have access to all email streams and your team can log time directly against specific elements - showing you exactly where your budget is being spent. You also can use a scheduler to visually plan out all milestones required for other tasks to begin.

It gets better; managing your leads has never been so easy and I’ve used my fair share of sales tools. You can create opportunities that you can convert through a leads pipeline, generate estimates which on ‘acceptance’ automatically compiles your invoice. I mean, who has time to make invoices?

These tools help me day to day. Automating these processes essentially let’s you (and I) get back to the work we love to do. Get around it!
