New Accelo Pricing Plans

For the first time in over 5 years, we've made some changes to our plans here at Accelo. Here's the key points:

  • We've increased the per user per month pricing.
    Across the board, we've increased the per user per month pricing, even though the Accelo product has been tremendously upgraded and enhanced since early 2014.

  • We've eliminated the Plus edition of our products.
    With around 12% of our users on Plus, we've decided to focus on what we've called our Premium edition in the past as our sole tier/edition of our products.

  • Any clients on paid plans at the end of July won't see the pricing change until next year.
    To ensure that our clients have plenty of notice, these new prices will not apply to our existing clients until the start of 2020.

Why are we making these changes?

Here are a few of the main reasons:

  • Our clients have told us for a long time that our pricing - especially the Plus vs. Premium distinction - was confusing. With our new pricing, it's clearer and easier to understand product and price offering. It isn't perfect and we'll be doing a lot more experimentation in the quarters ahead, but we really wanted to simplify things with this change.

  • Removing Plus as a product tier allows us to focus our resources on the product our clients are overwhelmingly using. With only one in eight accounts using a Plus edition of our product, we'll be able to double-down on the product that has the biggest impact on our users.

  • It allows us to put more resources into helping our clients succeed. With this change, we're able to make sure every single business gets personalized demos in the trial process and quality support throughout their time using - and depending on - Accelo to run their business, regardless of their size.

What does this mean for current users?

If you're a paying Accelo user as of July 31st, 2019,  then your pricing will remain unchanged until the start of 2020. That includes for yearly plans that renew between now and the end of the year.

If you're on a yearly plan with Accelo, and your yearly plan renews after the end of this year, you'll continue to have the plan you've signed up for until it renews, at which point you'll automatically be moved to the plan current at the time.

What if I'm using Plus today?

If you're using Plus today, nothing will change until the start of 2020. After that point, you'll be upgraded to what is currently the Premium edition of Accelo and the standard plan at that time.
