Wow, what a week! We announced two very impressive upgrades that are just around the corner - one being our new Booking feature that launches on Thursday, April 19th, and the other being our Timesheets on Android and iOS Beta program.

Besides this, here is a list of all the other minor improvements we made last week:

Change the type for a Request: This handy improvement makes it easy for your team to move a request from the support queue to the sales queue or from level 1 support to level 2 support, etc (according to the request types you have configured). Previously changing a request type meant finding the original client email and forwarding it to the other request alias address - whereas now it's just a quick click to move it to another type:

request_type_changeAs you would imagine we've added permissions for this feature so you can ensure only the necessary staff have this new ability ;-)

Client Portal Navigation Menu: If you've disabled the view/access for some types of work - such as Projects - in the portal, the Projects menu item will hide correctly. However, if you adjusted the portal permissions for just 1 specific project and made that accessible, the Projects menu was still hidden in the portal making it quite hard for your clients to locate that it. This quirk has been fixed now.

Improved Invoice Email Templates: We're now using a better rich-text editor for the templated email content which forms part of your invoice template (used when quickly emailing your client with a PDF invoice attached), including a fix for tables so that when table borders are disabled, they stay disabled/hidden in the final email.

Adding Campaign Targets: Some of you using the Campaigns module might have bumped into an error when trying to add/edit the targets for a campaign action. This problem has been resolved.

QuickBooks Company Sync: A few users reported problems with a client/company in Accelo not pushing to QuickBooks Online. Upon further inspection, this problem only affected company records with an apostrophe in their title. This peculiar bug has been fixed so those companies will push across correctly.

Editing purchased materials: If you have added some materials to a project or ticket and have created a purchase order for them, this locks-in the purchase price. The sale price, however, should still be adjustable - except a small bug was blocking this in the edit state. We've corrected this now so the sale price is only locked once you invoice the materials.
