What a week, folks! We announced some pretty impressive news and improvements, such as more scheduling functionality, an integration with JIRA Epics, and a kick-off date for our launch webinar on harnessing NinjaRMM. Besides that, we have a bunch of other product updates to share, including:

JIRA Chrome Extension update: If you've started seeing the new Issue view/layout when working in JIRA you must have noticed that our Chrome extension - which makes it easy to find and link Accelo work to the JIRA issue - wasn't working properly. Fortunately, we've figured out the changes and shipped a new version to the Chrome Web Store

Accelo Chrome Extension for JIRA

Retainer period renewal behaviour: A few users noticed that the retainers renewal system might incorrectly create one more period than it should when processing a retainer that is about to expire. We're now correctly suspending the renewal in line with the retainer expiry.

Better focus state on forms: The next time you use Add Activity, Add Task or Create Request it should seem a little smoother as the cursor will be focused into the first field of the form.

Font tags for Quote Templates: This small improvement ensures that <font> tags used in your Quote Templates will now properly carry through to the final quote preview and PDF. Nice!

Task template fix for Retainers: When creating a retainer, once you choose the retainer type, any templated tasks available will be loaded in. However there was a hiccup with the utility for adding more task templates on-the-fly as you create the retainer - but this is now fixed.

Resolved problem with Project Triggers: More specifically, if a trigger included a rule which referenced a project profile field (a general custom field which applies to all types of projects), Accelo was failing to process and fire the trigger correctly.

Marking time as Invoiced: We also fixed an issue whereby the "Mark As Invoiced" setting within an invoice template was not being carried through when that template was chosen during invoicing. This setting is helpful when invoicing for Fixed Price work as it ensures that all time/activity logged so far can be regarded as invoiced as if you were invoicing for time & materials.

Helpful link to Mobile App setup: Especially handy for newer users of Accelo, we've added a quick link to the "Mobile App" set-up page inside the menu which slides open from your user profile/avatar in the upper right corner of the Accelo web application.
