And just like that, another week of awesome product updates have been pushed out for you to enjoy! So let’s jump straight in:

Faster Invoice Line Item Editing: We've made a subtle yet very helpful change to the way line items are added/edited within the invoice screens. Now you can simply TAB between fields and there's no need to click the confirmation checkbox each time a cell is changed! Likewise, if you're updating the Item code, Account, or Tax code on the right-hand hovercard - no more having to press "Save Changes" as your edits are automatically applied. Of course, you still need to Save the invoice screen to lock-in all the changes ;-)

Module titles handling more characters: Until now, Accelo wasn't expecting characters like è or à to be used in the title of a module - so renaming the "Company" module to "Organizacin" wasn't handled very nicely for our Spanish customers. These encoding issues are all sorted now.

Weekly Timesheet worklog now supports tags:If you're using the Weekly Timesheet screen to record your work and often want to tag your worklogs with extra info, you can now achieve this within the Detailed Work Log - just look for the "Add Tags" link on the right of the modal.

Send emails with just a Cc recipient:We've made our email processing system a little more flexible, nowallowing emails to send when there are Cc recipients but nothing in the To field.

Public API query improvement:We can now support "OR" and "AND" filter operators when running queries.

Project Overview usage graph toggle:This graph's toggle has been enhanced to now remember the last view you used. So if you're always switching to view the usage by "Time" we'll save you the trouble the next time you view a project.

QuickBooks Online - Toggle for importing bills:Initially we were importing bills as purchases but realized this wasn't suiting most users, so we disabled that feature. Now we've opened it up via a setting on the Integrations page so you can decide whether bills in QuickBooks online should be imported to Accelo (as a purchase) or not.

Tasks for Retainer Periods in Client Portal: A few users pointed out that managing tasks for retainers in the client portal would be much easier if Tasks had their own tab view, so we've managed to take care of this small improvement.

Unapproved Time filtering for Tickets & Retainers: While our Project list screen had some helpful filters for finding projects withunapproved work, our Ticket and Retainer list screens were lacking these filter options. We've now rolled out the same filter options across those listing screens.

Ticket merge fields: When configuring a template activity or task within a status progression, users are presented with a list of applicable merge fields, including custom profile fields. However, these profile fields were not available for the Issues module. This minor sore point has been addressed.

Mobile App Improvements - Android:

  • Contact list in Company view now sorted alphabetically.
  • Geofence setting screen, plus the ability to pause and resume all geofences.
  • View Contact and Request (of which the activity is against) from activity thread view.
