Despite being a short week for our team in the States, we worked hard to deliver some exciting news and updates...
We officially announced the public beta of our native integration with HubSpot, one of the world's leading Marketing Automation platforms, so be sure to contact [email protected] if you want to try this out.
We also pushed out some helpful product improvements that’ll make running your business even easier - these include:
Expense Approval Permission: We've introduced a new user permission for the Expenses module so that non-admin users can now be given the ability to approve & decline expenses, regardless of the work where the expenses sit. Previously these users could only approve & decline if they were the user managing the project/ticket/retainer.
Improvements to Email Privacy & Sharing: We released two new email automation features for all Accelo accounts - the ability to control privacy as you write an email, and the ability to more intelligently bring your colleagues into the loop when you're working on sales, projects, tickets or retainers they care about.
Datetime detail for Ticket Exports: When exporting Issues/Tickets from Accelo, the export now includes timestamps in the submitted date and closed date columns. This extra detail is helpful when needing to calculate time-to-close or other custom KPIs you might be reviewing.
Request Module - Triggers available for all: We've relaxed the licensing requirements for the Request module such that Triggers for Requests are now available for all Accelo products.
Sales Export formatting change: When exporting from most list screens in Accelo, the data is split into tabs according to the types of project/ticket/etc you have available - since each type can have statuses and fields which don't correlate with other types, so it makes a lot of sense to segregate them. The standard sales list export wasn't following this pattern, which we've now corrected.
Expenses on Retainer List: A few users picked up a discrepancy whereby the Retainer List was only reflecting the allocation of approved expenses, whereas other places were including both approved & unapproved. We've updated the retainer list to be consistent with the rest of the retainer module.
A new warning added before closing a Task pop-up: Currently when viewing or creating a Task, clicking outside of the popup will immediately close it without warning. We realized we need to have a warning message appear to prevent users from losing a lot of unsaved data, especially if they accidentally clicked out of a window.
Android upgrade: ‘Smart tips' will now appear on screen to encourage users to add Work (timers & activity etc) and Bookmarks. For example, the app will recognize the companies you frequent most, and ask you if you want to bookmark those companies for easy access.
Invoice List screen improvement: You can now easily see if a PDF exists (and click to open it) for an invoice from your Invoice List screen, just like you can from your Billing tab.
HubSpot Integration: HubSpot users can finally extend their service beyond a sale, and service professionals using Accelo get accurate insights into where their leads are coming from before prospecting even occurs. For more details on this, go here.
