Can you believe we're already into May? I know we can't! This quarter is flying by very quickly, but not without anything to show for it. With that said, here's a couple of the latest and greatest product improvements made at Accelo during the past week:
Sync JIRA Epic-tasks to Accelo in bulk:We've improved our integration with JIRA so that you can easily pull all the issues/tasks under a JIRA epic into Accelo. For example, if you have a milestone (for a project) in Accelo which corresponds to an epic in JIRA, then you probably want all the issues under the JIRA epic to become tasks under the Accelo milestone. To make this happen, simply edit the epic and use the "Accelo" field to search for and select the relevant project/milestone:

Moments later, all of the sub-tasks on that epic will have the same link added and will then be sync'd into Accelo as tasks under that milestone, saving you the hassle of double entry:
Skip PDF creation for older invoices:We've learned that generating a PDF (customer) invoice isn't really necessary for past invoices brought into Accelo from a CSV, Xero or QuickBooks import. It's great having these historical invoices visible in Accelo, but creating PDFs for all of these on-the-fly meant that PDF generation for current invoices could be slowed down. By skipping invoices with an Invoice Date older than 31 days, we're hoping to improve PDF generation performance for all customers and reduce unnecessary storage!
Of course, if you need a PDF created you can always trigger this to happen with a simple click of the "Generate PDF" button on the left of the View Invoice screen.
