And just like that, we're already into the second quarter of 2018 (can you believe it?). With several priorities and upgrades underway, we're super excited for what's to come over the next few months... and you should be too :)

With that said, here's a list of the minor fixes and improvements we made during the past week:

Unified custom fields in more List screens:A unified custom field is simply a field which persists across everything under a client - so if you're looking at any of their projects, tickets, etc you see that piece of information, and you can edit it from any of those screens. This latest improvement means when you're filtering a list of projects, tickets, retainers etc. this field will be available in the filter options. You'll find the unified fields available in the filters on the following List screens: Sales, Projects, Milestones, Issues, Retainers, Periods and Assets.

Project Plan Budget Icons: This subtle UI improvement makes it much easier to know the type of budget configured in your project plan, as we'll now show a special icon for Fixed Price milestones and make it clear if any rows are set to be non-billable!

Capturing duplicate email attachments:While we already had some logic in place to avoid re-capturing attachments we've already seen (from previous email capture) it was clear this wasn't working perfectly. Now we're doing more exact duplicate detection using File Checksums to ensure we only capture truly unique files during email capture processing.

Division field for Edit Company:By popular demand, we've added the Division field into Edit Company so you can quickly add, change, or remove your clients from the divisions you have configured in Accelo.

Boost firstname when searching for people:You might have noticed when adding recipients to an email, if you search for "John" it was possible that "Sarah Johnson" was being returned ahead of "John Smith" which seemed odd to us. Byboostingthe importance of firstname, we've resolved this little quirk.

NinjaRMM Reset Alerts: It is now possible for a NinjaRMM alert to be automatically resetwhen the request is closed in Accelo.

Address no longer required for Edit Contact:Since there are pathways where a contact can come into Accelo without an address, it was odd that on the Edit Contact screen we were forcing you to ensure the contact had an address before saving any other changes you wanted to make. This restriction has been lifted now.

Dashboard data fixes and improvements:We had a discrepancy when displaying work by Category showed incorrect times for Scheduled activities on Schedule Dashboard - this is now fixed. Also, our Utilization Dashboard had a hiccup whereby the hours breakdown was not updating when filters were toggled, which is resolved too.

Pushing more contact details to HubSpot:Although it was possible to configure, we had an issue where custom fields (profile fields) for contacts were not pushing across to the HubSpot contact from Accelo. This is now improved so you can sync even more Accelo data into Hubspot :-)

Required Contact fields when Adding Company:In short, those "required" contact fields weren't being validated so it was possible to leave them blank when adding a new company. We've closed this little loophole.
