And just like that, it's already the second week of 2018! We've put together a long list of exiting product updates that you can expect to see from us in Q1 - so be sure to check it out here if you haven't already seen it. On top of that, we've also pushed out some minor improvements during the past week, which include:
Adding Account Managers as Team Members: The next time you configure a status change with a "special process" for creating Team Members (aka Contributors) - which is used to link contacts or staff with a project, ticket or retainer - you'll find a clever new option which allows the users listed as account manager on the parent company to be automatically selected as team members. This means after the status progression was run, you'll see the Team Members already linked to the Project:
More sweet QuickBooks Online updates!
Fix for deleting custom fields: If a field was used in a trigger, but that trigger had been made inactive, the system was blocking you from deleting the custom field! We've now cleaned up the code so you won't have any more lingering fields you don't want.
Android Mobile Apps: Official Beta Release: Introducing Quotes & Signoffs features into the Accelo Android app!
More Merge fields for Requests: Our team have added Company & Contact Custom Fields as Request merge fields.
Attachments being Captured Multiple Times: A handful of customers were being affected by some conditions in our email capture processing, but we've managed to improve the processing so the duplicate attachment capture is a thing of the past.
Client Portal Activities: We've made a small improvement such that your customers using the portal can now find and use the "Add Attachment" button when submitting a note/email activity.
Hidden Field Updates: When you define a hidden field update action, Accelo will make the field change without the user knowing. However, we had a problem whereby the "Lookup" type fields were not having the supplied value set.
Expenses allow zero price: Some users reported trouble saving expenses with a $0 purchase or sale price. It appears this should be supported but our back-end system didn't like it - but we've updated the system to allow $0 across both fields on the expense.
Scheduling Dashboard filters: It was reported that Shared/Private filters were not appearing for selection when using the Schedule Dashboard screen. We've corrected this bug so you can now quickly populate your dashboard data from saved filters again!
HubSpot Rule Editing bug: HubSpot users may have noticed certain multi-select style rules failing to show the previously selected options, which when saved could cause the sync rules to misbehave. The rule editing problem has been fixed.
