Can you believe it's already February?! This year is flying by, but not without an abundance of early achievements! We've rolled out yet another week of helpful updates and product improvements, including:
Preference for "via" text when relaying emails:Due to popular demand, we've extended the Activity & Email settings in Accelo to allow the "(via Accelo)" text to be turned off, or customized. This text was applied when Accelo was sending an email using an alias - that is, an email address which doesn't belong to a user, and as such would not be verified in the same way your user email addresses are. Adding this "via" text is a best-practice courtesy to let recipients and other systems know these emails originated from an application and that we're not trying to spoof anyone's address. Now you can turn this detail off, or change the text that is applied - plus the option to skip the custom text and use "via Accounts" if users are replying to an "Account" type request in Accelo.

Note that if you're still seeing"via accelo.com" then this is a slightly different situation. This means you haven't added an SPF record for Accelo to denote us as a trusted sender for your domain.
Pinned navigation for new users:We heard from a few newer users that accessing the left-hand-menu was a bit tricky as you had to find the little "hamburger" button in the top left corner of Accelo. To make this easier we're now pinning the menu to the left-side of the screen for all new users ;-)
Quote Theme color - HEX input:Yep, it turns out many of you know the exact 24-bit color code (HEX) according to your brand guidelines and needed to apply this to your quotes. So, we updated the color picker to also have a HEX input field to accommodate!
Request Unknown Sender Handling- A small change here to ensure this email capture process also checks your domain exclusion list. So if you had told Accelo to ignore all emails from @teddybears.com, previously we were still capturing requests from those addresses, whereas now we will ignore them too.
Project Insight's Forecast Graph Fix:It appears that Non-billable projects had a problem in the Insights area were the Forecast time remaining was appearing as billable.. which was confusing when you're dealing with a project that was specifically set-up as non-billable! Fixed now.
Searching task by skill:The global search feature wasn't returning tasks if you searched for a skill keyword. We've improved this so finding tasks by skill will be much easier.
Quotes & Sign-offs in Mobile:After a few weeks in beta, both our AcceloiOS and Android apps are happy to move the Quotes and Sign-offs modules to be available in the general release versions of our apps.
Google Contact push duplication- We are continuing to tweak and improve our Google contact sync. Just lately we spotted an issue which was causing some contacts to push and not detect an existing contact, thereby creating a duplicate. While they are easy to find and merge in Google, it's much better for us to improve the duplicate detection, which is now in place.
Our new beta integration with NinjaRMM:was publicly released, and will particularlyhelp MSPs already using Accelo. To get involved, please contact [email protected] and we'll get you set up. We've also just pushed a change to ensure we detect and match duplicate companies on import from NinjaRMM to Accelo.
