The Activities Module is at the heart of Accelo. It’s where you send emails, write notes, create meetings and more. It not only includes conversations to your clients, but it also houses the communications between your team.
As quickly as it became one of the most powerful and useful features in Accelo, it’s speed and ease of use needed to catch up. Previously, creating and viewing activities took you to another screen-- now, you’ll be able to view and create from the fast and easy pop-up interface added to your Accelo Inbox.
Along with the new Inbox, you’ll also see a redesigned and upgraded way to view activities (notes, email conversations, etc). Instead of showing a single email, for example, and then forcing you as a user to click through to a different screen to see another part of the conversation, you'll now be able to see a list of all of the activities in a conversation on one screen. The new screen will be familiar to Gmail users (it resembles the conversation thread you see in Gmail), and we're excited to hear what you think of it.
Whether you're making a note, sending an email, scheduling an appointment or just logging some time, activities are the way to do it. However, the current screen for adding activities means leaving where you were and requires a whole new screen load, which isn't very user friendly or efficient. To solve this, we've introduced a new way to create activities; now whenever you create an activity, you'll see a window that pops up almost instantly. Simply click, enter some text (and time) and save and you're done.
