In this week's Employee Spotlight, we're featuring our very own Dave Donnelly, who was recently promoted to Senior Implementation Manager here at Accelo. With a two-year tenure at Accelo, Dave is an integral part of the Implementation team. In addition to being a great resource for his clients, he's also a great mentor to his colleagues and goes out of his way to ensure his team feels supported.
"Dave is one of those utility players who you can put in almost any situation and you know he will get the job done. Not only does he have extensive knowledge about the product, but he thoroughly explains the value our clients can get from adopting the system into the operations of their service businesses. Additionally, he's a great mentor to the Implementation team by providing hours of training and feedback." -Sara Maskivish, VP of Client Success

Learn more about Dave, what his day-to-day looks like, and his favorite part of working at Accelo:
When I was first hired, our Customer Success team was much smaller and my title was Customer Success Manager, along with almost everyone else on our team. As the team grew, we defined more specific positions and I became an Implementation Manager. I was recently promoted to Senior Implementation Manager as my role continues to evolve with our growing Implementation team.
I’ll usually start my day by checking my Accelo Inbox for new emails, then checking My Schedule in Accelo to see what client calls I have coming up.

My primary role is onboarding new Accelo users. This involves helping companies map out their business processes and how these can be applied to Accelo, setting up and customizing their account, and training their team on how to use the platform. I’ll typically spend 3-4 hours a day on video conferences with different companies and the rest of my day configuring their accounts or helping support and train the newer members of our Implementation team.
A work hard, play hard startup with a quickly growing, but still tight-knit team based in downtown San Francisco. What’s not to love?
There are a lot of things I like about the culture at Accelo, but one thing that sticks out is the company’s transparency. Even though half of the company is on the other side of the world, everyone is always kept in the loop and kept informed. A lot of this can be attributed to the fact that we also use Accelo to run our business, which opens up a new level of visibility into exactly what is going on with your entire team and all of your clients. On top of that, our bi-weekly team meetings and all-hands meetings ensure that all team members are constantly up to date.
