A bit under a year ago, we launched Accelo to the world, and in the process delivered the most comprehensive, affordable and integrated SaaS platform for managing a professional service business.
People loved us for our features, how tightly integrated all of their client work could be, and for really innovative features such as our contact/calendar sync and automatic email capture. But they also told us what they didn't love about us - initially it was that the product we butt-ugly (it was), then that it was too big and had too many features.
For our thousands of users who love us, they really loved us a lot - more than 70% of our users use Accelo every single work day. But we also realized with a few changes we could make a difference in how many more people spent their days.
