A quick blog post to cover some recent updates to Accelo.
Anyone who has jumped into the configuration screen for jobs/issues/prospects will appreciate this feature: The ability to delete any status at any time. Of course, to ensure this doesn't wreck any records or progressions using that status, we've built a special screen where you can select a replacement status.
You simply click the delete button next to the status that you want to remove. Once you confirm, if the system detects that the status is in use then you will be taken to a new screen to convert any records using that status.
The process of converting will be grouped into job types. In the example below you can see that we are deleting a status called "scheduled" and we need to choose a new status for 17 "Project" jobs that are currently using that status.
You'll also be required to modify or remove any progressions that use that status. Once you've reviewed all the changes on this page you simply click Save and let Accelo do all the hard work!
After we added the ability to type into the "Attention" field people started noticing they could keep their hands on the keyboard as they will in a diary except when they got to the "Class" field. We've now fixed it so you can tab over this field and use the arrow keys to select a class.
This feature came through last week so many of you may have already found it. We now let you delete an individual invoice and the receipt (if one exists) from the View Invoice screen.
If the invoice is linked to an online accounting system then we will either delete the invoice from there as well - if allowed. Some systems only allow us to "void" the invoice.
