At Accelo, one of our core values is to Serve, from our fellow team members to our clients, and our communities. Fueled by our values, Accelo encourages employees to attend a multitude of volunteering opportunities to give back. In our newest series, Accelo Serves, we highlight amazing organizations we've teamed up with and share our experiences. This past week, some of our Denver team volunteered at Denver Metro Caring, where they contributed to the organization's mission—to help meet people's immediate food needs while addressing, poverty, the root cause of hunger.
Offering a plethora of cooking classes, clubs, and health programs, Metro Caring uses comprehensive anti-hunger resources to help families break the cycle of poverty. The organization aims to provide nutritious groceries to the Denver community, while at the same time offering hunger-prevention resources to families who are in need.

"Metro Caring provides a meaningful and authentic shopping experience for those in need in our community. I’m happy to be part of an organization like Accelo, that sets a good example for Denver’s startup community to be involved and to help out such an impactful organization." - Lee Weinberger, Account Executive
Our team pulled up their sleeves and put on their gloves, then got to work. They spent an afternoon stocking and organizing the market with donated groceries, including fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, dairy, and lean protein.
