Traditional agencies who are still doing outdated 'SEO' will find it impossible to demonstrate real value. You will receive reports on keyword rankings, the number of blog posts written, the number of visitors shown in Google Analytics or similar statistics. But none of these help you to understand where your budget is being spent, and if it is returning value for money.
