Lissie Peach, a Senior Account Executive in the Denver office, is a Product Consultant who has a great passion for helping prospective clients find the right solution to help their business thrive. She has been working with Accelo for the past year and a half and in that time has helped many professional service businesses evaluate their potential use of Accelo to enhance their day-to-day client work management. Here's how Lissie is #Accelorating her career!

 

What was your career journey to becoming our Senior Account Executive?

I started with Accelo right at the onset of the pandemic, after a little over four years of working in the recruiting field. I had just been laid off and knew that I needed to take that opportunity to make a shift in my career.

I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason! I think that door closing really allowed me to take the step to find a position that I was passionate about. I started as an Account Executive and was able to get in here, learn the product and start moving forward in my career here at Accelo. 

What’s it like being a part of the sales team?

We have a really fun and dynamic sales team here at Accelo. We are all really different! We don't have a certain type of person that we hire so it really lends itself to the job - we are able to challenge each other and see things from different perspectives.

I honestly love it. We really care about the product and the people we work with on a daily basis so that creates a nice synergy! 

How do you use Accelo in your role?

I get to use Accelo’s Sales Product on a daily basis to track and manage my own opportunities, I am able to use the platform to optimize my day-to-day workflow through the use of custom lists and tracking my activities. 

What are you most looking forward to at Accelo?

It definitely has to be the growth for me - personally, professionally, and the company as a whole. I very quickly learned how much I love startup life. Things move quickly and it’s all hands on deck. I love the common goal that we all have to really push ourselves and scale this company.

In sales, you really get to see the direct impact you have on pushing that needle which is really cool to be a part of. 

What's something you have learned that you would like to tell a future Accelo employee?

This is a company full of people that want to help each other and see each other succeed. Everyone is willing to pitch in and lend a hand when needed. If you can truly see your colleagues as resources, you can increase your impact by working together and leaning into each other's strengths.
