As one of the best ways to get things done and record work, it’s no surprise that Tasks are one of the most frequently used features in Accelo. It’s been quite a long time coming, but the recent changes have escalated productivity for many of our users.
Along with the introduction of the Task Deadline and Status Boards and the Task Assignment Board, from today you’ll find that the rest of screens and interfaces that use tasks in Accelo have been redesigned so now you've got a consistent, easy to use view of all the work that matters, no matter where you are.
In almost all of your Accelo pages, you’ll now be able to see a better and clearer Tasks section, with more information and usability in one place. You’ll find the updated and redesigned Tasks in:
Any changes you want to make to your tasks can be done right from the quick, editable pop-up. Change the description, re-assign to another colleague or change the due date-- quickly and seamlesly.
In your Tasks section, you can visualize work in any way you choose. View completed tasks to see what’s already been done, or filter by pending to check out the stuff you’ve got coming up.
Right from your Task, you can add an activity in order to log time, send emails, schedule meetings and more. Doing this means that the time you spend automatically eats into the remaining time budget on the task.
Whenever you finish a task, you can make sure to set it to ‘complete’ so that it gets ticked off. Accept tasks to acknowledge that you’ve read and are committing to it and Start tasks to show that you’re working on it.
Any time a task gets assigned or completed, the manager and assignee will be notified by email. Because emails are mobile friendly, you can just reply to them normally and know that they'll get brought in as a part of the activity stream conversations.
