You can get really granular and specific about what you want to show your clients by the Client Portal. You manage access visibility permissions in the Client Portal, configuration area and then within each section here for each module you can determine exactly what you would like your clients to see. For example, we're in the Project Permissions, in this case are we going to give our clients access to view their own project in the client portal? Yes, we are. We can then select and determine exactly what we want to show our clients via the client portal; if we want to show them all activities, including internal notes, we can. I would not recommend that. You can show any activities that involve contacts of the clients' company or we can show no activities at all and then you can, again, get really granular and specific in terms of what level of information you want to show your clients. Most importantly may be in the financials visibility, you can determine whether you want to show your clients the value, Dollar value or Pound value of time logged in the system or not. So, for each of the modules you can determine exactly what, globally, you want your clients to see via the client portal. Of course, these global settings can be overridden on a company-by-company basis. If you have a specific company that you want to have different visibility settings than the rest of your clients for whichever reason.
