Another week of progress for you! The team has been pushing hard on our Purchases module. For those of you who’ve requested access to the beta, you should have it now - so you’re free to start testing. Please submit any questions you have to our Support team, we’re here to help.

We’ve also made huge strides on our new Scheduling module. If you’re curious to see what’s in store for project portfolio management and resourcing, and you haven’t yet registered for the sneak peek session tomorrow, there are still a few spots left! You can snag one here.

Also worth mentioning - our new API documentation site is up and running - with more endpoint details (like our Assets module), more code examples and we've even got more staff on hand to answer tricky questions on the Developer Forum

As for our regular fixes and improvements - here’s the short-list from the last 7 days:

Billable time fix for the Meeting Report screen in Contracts/Retainers: the Meeting Report screen for Retainer/Contract activity wasn’t allowing billable time. While in the past this would’ve been normal (as we only allowed this for retainer periods) we now allow billable activities on retainers and link up the billable time with the appropriate period.

Invoice List - filter improvement: we’ve added a Divisions filter to the Invoice List, so you can filter invoices based on which division the related company (billing contact) is linked with. This can be helpful if you have 2 business units/divisions using the same Accelo account but need to report (and export!) invoices separately. 

Integrations page improvement: now you can import your contacts with a wizard button on the integrations page. When you connect your Exchange or Google accounts to Accelo, you’re prompted to select your preferred contact import method. One of these methods was a wizard, which you had to go find under Config > Import. We added a link directly to that wizard next to the “Wizard” option to make things simpler for you!

Home Activity Stream filters: the "global" activity stream page offers a comprehensive view of all the work, emails, calls and meetings happening through Accelo. The filters options allow you to zoom in on specific clients and types of work. This change allow you to filter for activities directly related to Milestones - not just activities on the parent project!

Project List - Task Progress: The project list screen includes a metric for tracking the budget usage of a project as well as the progress of work against the tasks. This second metric wasn't counting non-billable time logged on those tasks, but we've now updated the calculation so it is consistent with other time/progress graphs in the project's module which factor in non-billable time.

Exchange Contact Sync fix: A few clients noticed some contacts having duplicate addresses created in Accelo. Our team identified the problem with the Exchange/O365 sync process which was causing this and the issue is now resolved.
