Let's talk about Activity Classes. Activity Classes are a way to categorize all the different types of work that you're going to want to log in here. So, to get to the screen we're going to click the Menu button on the upper hand left corner, go to Configuration. From there it will be at Activities & Emails and then under that you see Activity Classes. So, first things first, we got the class title here. In this demo we've got Client Work, Sales, Internal, On-Site, Off-Site; you can have as many of these as you want and, in fact, you can also have sub categories within here. So, for example, you may have a couple of different things grouped underneath Client Work that reflect what kinds of work you're doing for the client. Over here you can see Company & Contact class, Email Campaign, Sales, Project. What this reflects is all the different places that you want to be able to log this type of work.
To edit this, you're going to hit this button here, it says "Add child of this class." You can add a child to that specific class that you've highlighted here or you can select that it has no parent and that will add the new class there. Then from there you can manually select where you want to be able to log that type of activity.
