Calendar appointments make up an important part of business activities. Whether it’s a phone call, meeting or lunch date, you’ll want to make note of it, especially if it’s related to your clients or your company. Now, appointments and meetings are automatically imported from your Google Apps, Microsoft Outlook or Office365 accounts.

With the latest feature upgrade, you can now round out the automatic sync of emails, contacts, and (now) calendar to your Accelo account. Anytime you receive an invitation or calendar update from a company client or contact, you'll be able to see it updated in Accelo.

It's important to note that only appointments that involve clients as attendees will be captured. In the same way that we capture emails that adhere to your privacy settings, we won't import anything that does not include a client contact.

Automatically imported from Gmail, Outlook and Office 365

Previously, you've been able to create meetings in Accelo and have them sync up with your calendar, but those meetings (and invitations from others) were left out out of the main activities area. We know that the calendar interface of Google, Outlook and Office365 is often much easier to create an appointment in -- select the timeslot, give it a title, include some attendees and you're done. Now you're able to have all of that convenience but get the benefits of bringing those important client interactions into the core of Accelo as activities.

Visualize appointments in your Schedule

Right from the Schedule feature, you’ll now see activities added from your integrated calendar. Clicking on a meeting will take you through to the activity in Accelo, where you'll be able to utilize the full functionality of the Activities feature.

Log time and report on your appointments

Because all calendar appointments are now automatically added as activities, you’ll be able to easily log time on them from various places in Accelo. This means that you get them included in your work schedule along with tasks, get prompted to log your time and also enter a short meeting report so that you and your team can be on the same page if you need to look back over a client's history.
